There is foxing on endpapers , on page ends and on the opening pages. The covers are beginning to break away from the text. The pictorial covers are rather tired, have little wear but some blemishes and sun bleaching on the spine. No more than a good++ reader's copy .

Late 1940's Brownie adventure written by a 15 year old, published by George G Harrap & Co Ltd, London. A well used copy with finger marks and blemishes but fascinating coloured pictures. There is a neat inscription on the title page. The covers are beginning to break away from the text. The pictorial covers have dust grime, wear on edges and much of the spine facia is damaged or missing. An interesting piece of Brownie memorabilia but no more than a reader's copy.

Clean, bright, well bound text with no inscription but a small neat 'doodle' on the back inside cover. The pictorial covers have darkened, there is a little wear on corners and at the head and foot of the spine, which is sun bleached. A good++ reader's copy.
