Circa 1909 edition in hardback, published by George Routledge & Sons Ltd, London. Magnificent coloured frontispiece and 95 illustrations on wood. Edited by W H Kingston, the text is clean, bright and well bound, but the covers are beginning to break away from the text, there is light tanning on endpapers and a neat inscription (Christmas 1909) on the front endpaper. The pictorial covers have a little wear on corners and at the head and foot of the spine and a few very small blemishes. They are in good++ condition and present very well.   

1927 paperback published by Websters. Spine split at the top and the bottom. Well used but cotains a Salvation Army collecting envelope dated 1927. Rare early paperback but in Poor condition.
