The blue cloth covers with gilt lettering are in very good condition. The dust jacket has some small nicks and closed tears but is in good++ condition and presents very well.

1946 edition in hardback, published by the Book Club. Clean, tightly bound text with no inscription. The red cloth covers are in very good condition, very slight wear on edges and a little sun bleaching at the head and foot of the spine. The dust jacket has a 1cm piece missing from the foot of the spine and fraying with closed tears along its top edge, nevertheless it still presents well.

A Ladybird Senior book in series 536 by Brian Vesey-Fitzgerald. Clean text and covers with a very good condition dustjacket. Published in 1954.
